Brewing Terror

In this can’t-put-down entry in the ongoing River Bend Chronicles series, Lynn Powers has been accepted into a two-week program at Harvard for nonprofit professionals. On the plane to Boston she chats with Eloise, a River Bend friend who is going to visit her daughter, Julie, a high tech government worker with Top Secret security clearance. Homeland Security agents enter the picture to guard Julie when they learn she has come to the attention of a terrorist cell. When Lynn takes some time off to enjoy the Fourth of July with Julie in Boston, they are assaulted by terrorists and rescued by Homeland Security agents. Julie returns.
