The River Bend Chronicles (Vol. 18)
Newly licensed local attorney Beth Seymour starts the holiday season accepting several former high school classmates in need of legal advice. Two of her new clients are accused of murder. Beth is able to free them from suspicion. In the process she learns of a drug operation. Uneasy about how to share this information with Dusty and his staff, she calls on Lynn for advice. Before the women can resolve Beth’s issues, they are pursued by the drug dealers. Trying to save themselves, Beth and Lynn race cross country on a snowmobile to elude the drug dealers threatening murder.
Murders, snowmobile chases, blizzards and a little romance define the Christmas holidays in River Bend.
